Challenge #48: Warm It Up: Use Red, Orange and Yellow

Happy Tuesday Users!

Use It Tuesday is so very blessed to have Users from around the world playing with us each week. Some of you will probably be reading this in shorts with your bottle of sunscreen. But here in the Northern Hemisphere, where Use It Tuesday originates, we're stuck in the middle of winter
and looking for signs of spring.

To get us out of those mid-winter blues, we want to you to
"Warm It Up: Use Red, Orange and/or Yellow".

Please make a project that uses at least one of these colors.

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by noon EST on Friday February 1, 2013. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE048 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation. (Linking tips are at the bottom of the post!)

Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.

As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a little inspiration to get you started:

Stacey kicks things off with these adorable flip flops! She used a pattern paper stack that's been in her stash for almost two years and orange bling that's never been opened. And those cute Flip Flops? From a Cricut cartridge that saw use for only the second time.

Sherri scrapped this sweetie using a hoarded Crate Paper collection, embellishments and the Evalicious flair badge. Bow, wow, WOW!!

Heather had a colored image without a project home, so gave it one for this challenge. She also pulled out her scraps for those flags and the red rhinestones, which have been in her stash for several years.

Danielle challenged herself to use a color that doesn't often hit her projects. This Echo Park paper kit had a yellow theme, sitting unused on her shelf. She pulled it out for this darling layout.

Stephanie used some almost 3 year old Creative Memories papers for this layout, along with her twine which often gets forgotten in the scrap stash. Love the colors!!

Tracy punched her way through this challenge and used up scraps from a K&Company stack from about 3 years ago. The beautiful flowers on her layout and the letters are some old favorites, having been in her stash for almost 6 years (wow!).

Nicole made this terrific layout using washi tapes and other smash book items she's had in her stash since they first came out. She also found an unopened package of decorative paperclips and put them to good use too.

Our Guest Designer this week comes from our 2103 challenge at the end of last year. Sheena B make us this beautiful card. She dove into her paper flower stash to rescue those beauties for this challenge. Thanks for joining us, Sheena!!

And we are also honored to have our winner from Challenge #45 design for us as well!  Ruthie made this beautiful Valentine's Day card from recycled paper she made herself!  Thanks for joining us, Ruthie!

We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!
